They really make the process easy for new, almost clueless homeowners like my partners and I. This is our first home and we finally reached a financially-stable point in our lives that allowed us to better our life quality. A whole house remodel was surely our priority, but we weren’t exactly sure as to what needed to be improved or how. We consulted with different contractors but none felt very trustworthy. HouseIdea felt different from the first moment. They were calm, poised, professional and showed great care for their labor. Also, really love the high tech Vall uses, such as an app that shows entire building schedule, budget, communication between vendors us and houseidea as well as 3D rendering of our house before finalizing the plan designs. We hired HouseIdea to remodel our old childhood home back in September of last year. Even though the project was a whole house remodel, since they were going to work on an old home, we knew that we were going to face some issues. As we had expected, they aired some issues with electric and plumbing and informed us that they had to address all of that before we even began with the new construction. Although we faces difficulties, they tackled each one with courage and intelligence. They came up with different solutions to our problems and suggested an approach that would be cost-effective without compromising the overall quality. The previous contractors we had were an absolute mess. We were so displeased with everything they did that we stopped working with them halfway through the project. My wife and I consulted multiple contractors before hiring them. A lot of them were overcharging us for the sober build that we wanted, which we thought was ridiculous. As soon as we interviewed HouseIdea’s engineer, he spoke to us about the needs and upkeep of the kind of design that we were after. They made a new construction possible in a short amount of time. We added a small home (ADU) to our property with their help a couple of months ago and now that we’ve had time to actually live in it and check the quality of their work, we can confidently say that they are skilled contractors. They took care of all the permits and helped us select alternate materials that were not available due to shortage and availability.In terms of plans, we didn’t have a very strict frame, we just wanted a functional, custom-built, small home in the back of our property so that our parents can move in there. The whole house remodel was done with no interruptions and seemingly no mistakes. Everything they did for us felt extremely calculated and well thought out. After hiring them to work on my home, there is no doubt in my mind that HouseIdea is an excellent remodeling contractor. They handle their business with professionalism and incredible expertise. Provided me with start and finish dates, due to remodeling we went over budget about 10% which was predicted by Vall, he said worst case scenario we would go over by 20% due to the house being very old and in occupied condition for many years before we bought it and walls being closed(not exposed to framing). Vall and his team is WONDERFUL! I reached out to Vall about a year before my actual project. Despite the fact that he was so busy, he agreed to honor his initial word and take on our smaller project. The thing I appreciate with Vall that I didn't get from other contractors is his incredible eye for detail, and tendency for perfection. I am very detailed myself, and have a critical eye, but I found Vall took care of every little detail. It's very appreciated to have someone care about your house just as much as you do.. He did a beautiful job on our floors and kitchen renovation, and we've received a lot of compliments. His team does great work, and I felt grateful to have his Grandfather's decades of experience in flooring working on our floors. His countertop guy, Kornelly, does beautiful seam work. Anyway, he will make sure your project turns out well! I'm forever grateful to him and his team.
